Mamya Shajaffar and Arslan Butt end legal dispute with mutual settlement
The Mamya Shajaffar and Arslan Butt settlement was reached after both parties signed a formal agreement in the presence of respected elders, well-wishers, and mediators.
According to the document, Mamya Shajaffar and Arslan Butt agreed that the alleged workplace harassment matter had been amicably resolved and that no further disputes remained between them.

The Arslan Butt legal notice claimed that the remarks were false, defamatory, and had caused serious reputational damage.
In response, Mamya Shajaffar served a counter-notice seeking Rs1,000,000,000 in damages, arguing that the legal action was intended to intimidate and silence her following the Mamya Shajaffar harassment allegations.
Under the agreement, Mamya Shajaffar and Arslan Butt have agreed not to pursue or support any civil, criminal, harassment, or defamation proceedings against each other regarding the past dispute. Both sides will also avoid making hostile or defamatory public statements in the future.
