Young actor Shees Sajjad Gul who became a household name with his role as Rumi in the popular drama Mere Paas Tum Ho has just given an unconventional opinion, regarding the show.

The actor mentioned that this was a a bit of over-rated drama in spite of its enormous popularity.

When released in 2019, Mere Paas Tum Ho became one of the most successful Pakistani television dramas featuring Humayun Saeed, Ayeza Khan, and Adnan Siddiqui.

The theme of the story was relationships, betrayal, emotional conflicts and it became an immensely popular story not only in Pakistan but also abroad.

Shees Sajjad Gul however recently came out to declare that he does not personally like watching the drama and that that drama was overhyped.

He further asserted that his acting was not a big part of his role hence he was only memorizing and playing his lines on the screen.

The actor’s comments have sparked discussion among drama fans on social media. While many viewers still consider Mere Paas Tum Ho a classic Pakistani drama, others have found the young star’s honest remarks interesting and refreshing.
