Indian cricket star Mandhana has requested privacy and announced that she will now focus entirely on cricket.
Muchhal also issued a statement acknowledging the separation while condemning defamatory claims circulating online. He warned that legal action would follow against those spreading false information.
The wedding, originally scheduled for November 23, 2025, was first postponed after Mandhana’s father suffered a sudden cardiac scare due to stress from preparations.
Hours later, Muchhal was briefly hospitalised because of exhaustion and anxiety. These twin health emergencies forced both families to defer the wedding indefinitely.
During the break, social media speculation intensified. Unverified allegations about Muchhal’s conduct began circulating, including claims of inappropriate digital interactions.
Although his family dismissed these rumours as baseless, the deletion of pre-wedding photos and videos by Mandhana and friends fuelled further speculation about a deeper rift.
Ultimately, both Mandhana and Muchhal confirmed the end of their relationship. Mandhana emphasised her desire to maintain privacy and focus on cricket, calling the sport her “higher purpose.”
