Web Desk: Veteran actor Nauman Ijaz has opened up on trolling about his personal habit of performing Wudhu before work and how public reaction changed his relationship with media.

Nauman Ijaz recently shared thoughts on a deeply personal belief that guides his daily routine and professional life. In a rare interview, he explained why he performs Wudhu before heading to work and how the response to his earlier comments surprised him.

Known as one of Pakistan’s most respected actors, Nauman Ijaz has built a career on powerful and meaningful performances. Over the years, he has earned praise for fully living the characters he plays on television.

He was recently seen in three successful projects, Bismil, Parwarish, and the ongoing Sharpasand. His role as Farasat stood out, with many viewers saying the character felt tailor-made for him.

Earlier, Nauman had mentioned that performing Wudhu every morning is part of his routine. He said it is something he follows sincerely, as it gives him calmness and clarity before starting his day.

However, his statement led to mixed reactions online. While some supported him, others questioned the place of faith in the entertainment industry, turning his personal practice into a topic of public debate.

After staying away from interviews for some time, Nauman spoke to Fuchsia Magazine. He said people from his generation often find their beliefs misunderstood in today’s fast-moving and opinion-heavy culture.

Talking about the trolling, he explained that his elders taught him Wudhu brings ease and opens paths. He added that his words are frequently taken out of context, which is why he now limits media interactions.
