It’s never boring in Pakistan, and the latest viral moment proves it. A young reporter named Mehrunnisa caught everyone’s attention when her flood coverage video from Punjab went viral.
In the clip, she was seen reporting from a swaying boat. At first, she spoke like a serious correspondent, but soon she panicked and shouted.
“We are so scared, the boat is moving from side to side, we can’t balance!” She ended with the now-iconic line: “Please just pray for us, guys.”
The internet loved her dramatic style, calling her “cute” and even joking that her words symbolized life in Pakistan, “Balance nahin ho raha.”
But the twist came when people noticed her microphone branding. Was she from BBC Urdu? Not really.
She was holding a mic from a channel named “BBC Urdu News Punjab TV,” which has no link to the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC).
Mehrunnisa, however, doubled down. In another viral clip, she cheekily explained: “Their BBC means British Broadcasting Corporation. Our BBC means Bhai Bhai Channel.”

Her confidence and humor won her even more fans, and her boat-side coverage has now become part of Pakistan’s internet pop culture.
The viral Pakistani YouTube channel “Bhai Bhai Channel” is now facing a potential ban after BBC reportedly took action against its misleading content.
