
According to police, the arrest came after Samiya filed a complaint and shared a video about the incident.
She also handed over CCTV footage as evidence. The man had reportedly been following and stalking her for several days.
Samiya said that the suspect came to her house around 6:30 PM on Sunday. She had agreed to return some gifts he had sent earlier.
But when she met him, he tried to forcefully take her away, which she said was an attempt to abduct her.

A case has been registered at Shalimar Police Station under several serious sections of the Pakistan Penal Code, including those related to harassment, kidnapping, robbery, defamation, and attempting to commit a crime.
In a video posted on her Instagram account, Samiya thanked Islamabad police for their swift response and support.
She also revealed that the suspect had threatened her to take back the complaint, further highlighting the seriousness of the case.
This incident is part of a concerning trend in June, Islamabad police arrested a man accused of murdering 17-year-old influencer Sana Yousaf, who was tragically shot inside her home.
These cases underline the growing dangers faced by women, especially those active on social media platforms.
