(Web Desk): Pakistani TikToker Samiya Hijab has claimed that she narrowly escaped an alleged kidnapping attempt, sparking concern among her followers.

Popular Pakistani TikToker Samiya Hijab has alleged that a man from Lahore tried to kidnap her after she rejected his marriage proposal.

She further claimed that the same man has been threatening to kill her for the past three months.

In a social media video, Samiya explained that the man repeatedly pressured her to marry him.

After her refusal, he allegedly began stalking her. She said things turned dangerous when the man appeared outside her house while her mother was sick and her brother was away.

According to her, the man tried to snatch her phone, drag her to his car, and forcefully take her away. She also claimed to have a recording of the incident.

Samiya connected her situation to the tragic case of her friend, TikToker Sana Yousaf, who was shot dead in Islamabad after refusing a marriage proposal.

“I don’t want to be Sana,” Samiya said, stressing the dangers women face when they say no.

The Islamabad Police have recorded her statement and registered a case. She appealed to the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to take strict action, saying many girls face such threats but remain silent out of fear.

This case reflects a serious issue of women’s safety in Pakistan, where refusal of marriage proposals has often led to harassment, violence, and even murder.

Samiya’s comparison to the Sana Yousaf case highlights the life-threatening risks women face when asserting their independence.

Her decision to speak publicly is a strong act of courage, urging authorities to act before another tragedy occurs.
