Legendary comedian Lucky Dear passes away at 60 after long illness

(Web Desk): Famous Pakistani comedian Lucky Dear has passed away after a prolonged illness, leaving the showbiz industry and fans in deep grief.

Theater, television and film actor Lucky Dear was under treatment at Mayo Hospital in Lahore due to severe health complications.

According to his family, the 60-year-old artist had been suffering from lung disease and diabetes for the past eight months. His kidneys, liver and stomach had also stopped functioning, and in his final days, his condition became critical as he slipped into a coma.

His funeral prayer was offered after Asr in Baghbanpura, where family members, relatives, showbiz personalities and local residents participated.

Lucky Dear had been associated with the entertainment industry for more than forty years. He performed in hundreds of stage plays and many films, entertaining audiences with his unique acting style and powerful dialogues. He was regarded as one of the artists who brought theater to its peak and considered spreading smiles as his true art.

Colleagues and fans are expressing deep sorrow over his death. Fellow actors said he was recognized not only in theater but also in films for his humor and quick wit. They added that his absence will be impossible to fill for years to come.
