(Web Desk) BJP MP and actress Kangana Ranaut stirred controversy on Thursday after posting a critical comment about former US President Donald Trump, only to delete it hours later following a call from the party's leadership.

In the now-deleted post on X (formerly Twitter), Ranaut criticized Trump’s remarks discouraging Apple CEO Tim Cook from manufacturing iPhones in India. She questioned whether Trump’s comments stemmed from “personal jealousy or diplomatic insecurity,” and drew comparisons between Trump and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, calling Modi “sab Alpha male ka baap.”

The post quickly gained traction before being removed. Later, Kangana explained her decision, writing:

“Respected national president Shri @JPNadda ji called and asked me to delete the tweet I had posted regarding Trump asking Apple CEO Tim Cook not to manufacture in India. I regret posting that very personal opinion of mine. As per instructions, I immediately deleted it from Instagram as well.”

Her remarks came in response to Trump’s comments during his Gulf tour, where he stated,

“I had a little problem with Tim Cook yesterday. He is building all over India. I don’t want you building in India.”

Trump’s comments have sparked broader discussions, especially as India has become a major hub for iPhone manufacturing, with Apple producing $22 billion worth of devices in the country over the past year — a 60% jump from the previous year.

Kangana’s abrupt U-turn has raised eyebrows, with many speculating about internal BJP pressure and the party’s diplomatic balancing act ahead of global elections and international economic partnerships.
