Sahir Ali Bagga, who is renowned for his musical prowess and prolific contributions in Pakistani music industry, has expressed his grievances against Rahat Fateh Ali Khan In a recent social media post, and accused him of being “hypocrite”.
The scathing post reads, “Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is the biggest hypocrite and a brutal person – Khuda ki lanat ho munafiq pe (May God’s curse be upon the hypocrite).”
“Rahat Fateh — Khan Darinda sift hone kay sath MUNAFIQ bhi hai.”
“Rahat Fateh — is a beast as well as hypocrite.”
Meanwhile, actor and singer Ali Zafar played a positive role by reacting to Bagga’s statement and said:
“Dear brother Sahir Ali Bagga, I would request you to kindly maintain the spirit of Ramzan as you mentioned in your post earlier that mentioned, ‘Guard our tongue, not judge others.”
“We are all flawed in our own way, may Allah show us the light and may peace be upon us all. Ameen,” Ali further worte.
A comment stated: “We all think that after the brutal beating of that young man, Rahat Fateh Ali does not really deserve to be given Tamgha-e-Imtiaz.”
Sahir Ali Bagga has now deleted his post upon request of Ali Zafar. Bagga wrote:
“Thanks Ali Zafar. I apologise for revealing any truth about someone during Ramadan. I am now deleting the post.”
Sahir Ali Bagga accepted Ali Zafar's plea, deleting his post against Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, but underscore that his earlier words against Rahat Fateh Ali Khan were indeed truthful.
Sahir replied, “I apologise for revealing any truth about someone during Ramadan –Sahir Ali.”
