Traitor season 2 ends with Krystle D’Souza and Rida Tharan as winner
Krystle and Rida secure victory
Krystle D’Souza and Rida Tharana have emerged as the winners of The Traitors India Season 2 after surviving a tense and unpredictable finale.
The two contestants will share the Rs66 lakh cash prize after successfully making it through the final stages of the competition.
The Traitors season 2 winner was decided after a crucial final vote that could have completely changed the result.
Hosted by Karan Johar, the reality show featured several celebrities competing through secret alliances, eliminations and strategic moves.
A major turning point
The game changed significantly when Shahneel Gill, one of the Traitors, was eliminated in Episode 7.
Private detective Tanya Puri questioned Shahneel about the safety letters given to contestants. Her answers reportedly created doubts and exposed an important inconsistency.
The suspicion around Krystle then shifted toward Shahneel. Her inability to clearly remember the letters eventually contributed to her elimination.
This helped Krystle remain in the game when her own position had appeared increasingly dangerous.

Rida’s shocking switch
Rida Tharana had spent most of the season playing as an Innocent. However, after Shahneel’s elimination, Krystle recruited her into the Traitors’ camp.
The move completely changed Rida’s position in the competition.
Her first major decision as a Traitor was particularly difficult. She murdered her close friend Prish, showing that she was prepared to make ruthless choices to stay in the game.
The Traitors India Season 2 then became even more difficult for Rida as suspicion began to grow around her.
The murder that saved Rida
Malika Sherawat and Dalip Tahil started building a strong case against Rida. They convinced several contestants that she had secretly joined the Traitors.
Rida’s chances of reaching the finale appeared to be shrinking.
But another unexpected murder changed everything. Malika was eliminated, removing one of the strongest voices against Rida.
Krystle and Rida then managed to gain Shalini Passi’s support. Sahil Salathia and the remaining opposition were eventually eliminated.
The final vote
The final three contestants were Krystle, Rida and Shalini.
Shalini voted for Rida, while Rida voted for Shalini. The result created a tie, leaving the final decision in Krystle’s hands.
Krystle could have turned against Rida and potentially taken the prize alone. Instead, she decided to remain loyal to her fellow Traitor.
According to the show’s rules, a tie between a Traitor and an Innocent results in a Traitor victory. Her decision therefore secured the win for both contestants.
The Traitors season 2 winner was ultimately determined by Krystle’s final act of loyalty.
A surprising ending
The show premiered on Prime Video on August 13, with episodes released every Thursday before the finale.
The season featured popular names including Shalini Passi, Munawar Faruqui, Rhea Chakraborty, Mallika Sherawat, Shweta Tiwari, Dalip Tahil and Ranveer Brar.
