Delicious Chicken Creamy Wraps Recipe

Chicken wraps are an excellent choice for Iftar or a light dinner. This tasty and easy-to-make snack is loved by both kids and adults.

Filling Ingredients:

  • Boneless chicken – ½ kg (cut into thin strips)
  • Oil – 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic-ginger paste – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt – to taste
  • Black pepper – ½ teaspoon
  • Red chili powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder – ½ teaspoon
  • Soy sauce – 1 teaspoon
  • Bell pepper – 1 (thinly sliced)
  • Onion – 1 (thinly sliced)

 

Sauce Ingredients:

  • Mayonnaise – ½ cup
  • Ketchup – 2 tablespoons
  • Chili sauce – 1 tablespoon
  • Lemon juice – a few drops

Other Ingredients:

  • Soft tortilla or paratha
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Grated cheddar cheese – as needed

Method:

1.   Prepare the filling: Heat oil in a pan and cook the chicken strips on medium heat. Add garlic-ginger paste, salt, black pepper, red chili powder, cumin powder, and soy sauce. Cook until the chicken is tender and slightly golden.

2.    Add bell pepper and onion slices, sauté lightly for 2–3 minutes so the vegetables remain slightly crisp.

3.    Prepare the sauce: Mix mayonnaise, ketchup, chili sauce, and a few drops of lemon juice to make a creamy sauce.

4.   Take a soft tortilla or paratha, spread the sauce on it. Place the chicken and vegetable filling in the center, add lettuce leaves, and sprinkle some grated cheddar cheese on top.

5.    Fold both sides and roll tightly to make a wrap.

6.    For extra crispiness, lightly toast the wrap on a warm pan for 1 minute on each side until golden.

7.    Serve hot with ketchup or garlic dip for a delicious Iftar snack.
