Among all models, the Suzuki Every has experienced one of the most significant price hikes.
In an official circular issued to dealerships on July 2, Suzuki confirmed that the price revisions stem from newly implemented government taxes. These include an increased General Sales Tax (GST) and the introduction of the New Energy Vehicle (NEV) levy on specific categories.

Under the 2025–26 budget, the GST for vehicles with engine sizes of 850cc or less has been raised from 12.5% to 18%. In addition, the NEV levy has been applied across all categories. Since the Suzuki Every is a 660cc minivan, it is impacted by both tax increases. On the other hand, higher-displacement vehicles like Swift and Cultus are only subject to the NEV tax, not the GST hike. The Ravi pickup, though it features an 800cc engine, already falls under an 18% GST rate as it is classified as a commercial vehicle.
