Gold prices in Pakistan fall after global market decline
Gold prices fall in local market
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of one tola of gold dropped to Rs422,136 on Tuesday. The decline followed a rise of Rs1,400 on Monday, when the price reached Rs423,436 per tola.
The price of 10 grams of gold also decreased by Rs1,115 to Rs361,913. The latest figures show a fall in local gold rates after the previous day’s increase.
International gold rates also decline
Gold prices in the international market fell by $13 per ounce on Tuesday. The international rate reached $3,996 per ounce, according to the figures reported.
Changes in global gold prices can affect rates in Pakistan’s local market. However, local prices may also depend on currency movements and other market conditions.
Silver prices drop as well
Silver prices also declined in Pakistan on Tuesday. The price of one tola of silver fell by Rs85 to Rs5,793.
The decrease means both gold and silver became cheaper in the local market. Buyers and sellers will be watching future price changes to see whether the downward trend continues.
What the price drop means
The latest decline may offer some relief to people planning to buy gold or silver. However, prices can change again as international rates and local market conditions shift.
