Pakistan’s gold market remained calm. According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, 10-gram gold also held its earlier rate of Rs369,223. This stability followed Saturday’s sharp fall of Rs9,100 per tola that had pushed the price down to Rs430,662.

In the international market, gold stood steady at “4,083 dollars per ounce (including 20 dollars premium)”, showing no major movement.
Silver, however, did not stay quiet. Its price rose by Rs55, taking the per tola cost to Rs5,368.
Global prices saw a slight uptick on Monday. Investors were cautiously watching key US economic data expected this week. These figures may offer fresh hints about the Federal Reserve’s next interest-rate move.
