Gold prices remain stable in local market
Gold was trading at Rs412,136 per tola on Tuesday, with no increase or decrease recorded. The price of 10-gram gold also stayed at Rs353,340.
The latest rates show that gold prices have maintained their previous level after a recent increase. Buyers and sellers are now watching the international market for any change that could affect local prices.
Previous increase in gold prices
On Monday, gold became more expensive by Rs2,400 per tola. The increase pushed its price to Rs412,136, where it remained unchanged on Tuesday.
The latest figures indicate that the local market has paused after Monday’s rise. No further increase was recorded during the latest trading session.
International gold market shows no movement
Gold prices in the international market also remained stable at $3,896 per ounce. This steady trend was reflected in Pakistan’s local gold market.
International gold rates play an important role in determining prices in Pakistan. Any major movement in global prices can affect the rates announced by local jewellers.
Silver prices decline in Pakistan
Unlike gold, silver prices moved downward in the local market. The price of silver fell by Rs120 per tola to reach Rs5,368.
The decline offered some relief to silver buyers, while gold prices remained unchanged. Both metals continued to show different trends in the local market.
Gold prices have remained stable after Monday’s increase of Rs2,400 per tola. The unchanged international rate has also helped keep local prices steady.
However, silver prices have moved in the opposite direction and become cheaper. Buyers will be watching global market movements to see whether gold and silver prices change in the coming days.
