LAHORE (Web Desk): Pakistan car sales fell by 14% in December as buyers delayed purchases, even though yearly growth stayed strong and auto demand showed signs of recovery.

Pakistan car sales stood at 13,280 units in December 2025, according to data from the Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA). Sales rose 35% year-on-year (y/y) but dropped 14% month-on-month (m/m).

Despite the monthly dip, total car sales for the first half of FY26 reached 88,322 units, showing a strong 46% yearly increase from 60,676 units in the same period last year.

Topline Securities said the sharp yearly growth was driven by new car models, lower interest rates, easing inflation, and improving economic confidence across the country.
