Gold price soars by Rs1,100 per tola

KARACHI: (Suno News) After historic decrease of Rs7,800 in the price of gold across the country, the yellow metal has now become expensive again by Rs1,100 per tola on Wednesday.

 According to the All Sindh Sarafa and Jewellers Association (ASSJA), gold has become dearer by Rs1,100 per tola to Rs242,000. Similarly, with an increase of Rs943, the rate of 10-gram gold reached Rs207,476 while the price of silver remained at Rs2,650 per tola.

With an increase of 11 dollars, gold in the world market has reached 2,320 dollars per ounce.

It should be noted that gold became cheaper by Rs7,800 per tola yesterday, after which the price became Rs240,900. Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold after a decrease of Rs6,687 settled at Rs206,533.

On April 16, after the increase in the price of gold per tola across the country, it had reached a new high of Rs249,700.

After an increase of Rs1,900 on April 9, the price per tola reached a record level of Rs247,600.

On April 6, the price of gold per tola had reached the level of Rs245,100 after a huge increase of Rs4,900.
