PIA air to rail agreement brings one ticket travel as the national airline links flights with train services in the UK and Canada. Under this deal, passengers can now travel by air and train on a single ticket.
A PIA spokesperson said that travelers flying with PIA will get train travel facilities on the same ticket in Toronto, Manchester, and London. Passengers landing in Toronto can use the Access Rail service to reach eight major cities across Canada.

The spokesperson added that passengers flying to Manchester and London will be able to access more than fifty cities across the UK through Access Rail services. This move is expected to make onward travel much easier for international passengers.
PIA also said that rail tickets can be booked through all airline booking offices and registered travel agents. The same facility is available on PIA’s website and mobile application.
According to the spokesperson, the main aim of this agreement is to provide smooth travel facilities right up to passengers’ doorsteps. The air to rail partnership is also a key step toward modernizing and digitizing PIA’s travel network.

Access Rail is a global company that connects airlines with railway networks. PIA had first signed an agreement with this company in January 2020 to offer train bookings through its platform for the UK, Canada, and other countries.
After the UK announced the removal of restrictions on PIA in July 2025, the airline decided to restore this travel facility for passengers.
The deal makes long journeys smoother for passengers. One ticket travel can save time and reduce stress. This move may help PIA regain passenger trust abroad.
