(Irshad Sanjarani): Pakistan is taking part in the 61st DGCA conference in Kuala Lumpur, where aviation safety and new technology are key topics.

A three-member Pakistani delegation is attending the conference under the leadership of Civil Aviation Authority Director General Nadir Shafi Dar. The event is being held in Malaysia’s capital, Kuala Lumpur.

Pakistan shares aviation experience

During the conference, Nadir Shafi Dar shared his views and experience on important issues in the aviation sector. Pakistan’s experience and services in civil aviation were also appreciated during the event.

The conference is focusing on the theme ’’Smart Skies: Emerging Technologies for Sustainable and Efficient Aviation’’. Experts and officials are discussing how new technologies can help make air travel safer, more efficient and more sustainable.

Focus on aviation safety and regulation

Nadir Shafi Dar also joined a high-level panel discussion on ’’Smart Skies’’ as a panelist. The discussion covered the future of aviation, modern technology and ways to support sustainable air travel.

Speaking at the event, Dar said Pakistan is playing its role in promoting civil aviation. He also stressed that there would be no compromise on regulatory matters.

Global experts discuss aviation challenges

Dar said flight safety is extremely important for the aviation industry. He added that airlines should adopt proper safety management systems to further improve air travel safety standards.

Different sessions at the conference are also examining regulatory challenges facing the aviation industry. Dar will also serve as a moderator during a session focused on technical aviation safety.

Aviation experts and officials from different countries are attending the conference. They are discussing modern technologies, safety, regulations and sustainable development in global aviation.
