Nishat Group and LUXEED to bring premium electric vehicles to Pakistan
The agreement was signed in Wuhu, China, with senior officials from both companies attending the ceremony. The partnership aims to combine their resources and technology to support the growth of modern and cleaner transport in Pakistan.
Nishat Group expands its automotive business
Nishat Group is one of Pakistan’s major business groups, with operations in textiles, cement, banking, insurance, power and agriculture. Its wide business network and investment experience have helped it expand into different industries, including the automobile sector.
Through NexGen Auto, the group introduced OMODA and JAECOO vehicles in Pakistan in August 2025. The company invested $100 million in the project and began local vehicle assembly in Faisalabad.
The two brands recently crossed 15,000 customer deliveries during their first year, according to the announcement. NexGen Auto has also introduced iCAUR in Pakistan in partnership with Chery Group at the Pakistan Auto Show (PAPS) 2026.
LUXEED partnership targets premium vehicles
The agreement with LUXEED marks another step in Nishat Group’s plan to expand its presence in the premium vehicle market. The partnership aims to bring advanced vehicle technology to Pakistan and support the shift towards cleaner transport.
LUXEED focuses on three main features: intelligence, luxury and driving pleasure. Its brand message is “I DRIVE, YOU ENJOY,” highlighting comfort, smart technology and an enjoyable driving experience.
Chery and Huawei combine their technology
LUXEED is a premium electric vehicle brand developed through a partnership between Chery and Huawei. Chery manages vehicle manufacturing and engineering, while Huawei provides smart systems and digital driving technology.
The vehicles use Huawei’s HarmonyOS smart cockpit, Qiankun ADS driver assistance system and digital driving technology. These features are designed to improve the driving experience, comfort and safety.
LUXEED presents its global brand
LUXEED held its global brand launch event in Wuhu on October 21. The event highlighted the company’s focus on combining driving enjoyment, comfort, safety and intelligent technology.
The brand aims to make technology more useful for drivers by adapting features to their needs. Its partnership with Nishat Group could help introduce these features to Pakistani customers, although vehicle launch dates, models and prices have not yet been provided in the announcement.
The partnership could bring more premium electric vehicles and advanced car technology to Pakistan. Nishat Group’s existing automotive business may help LUXEED enter the market, but its success will depend on prices, after-sales service, charging facilities and customer demand.
