Chawla Green Motors has introduced the Dongfeng Vigo EV in Pakistan, marking the brand’s entry into the country’s growing electric vehicle market. The launch adds a new option for buyers looking for an electric compact SUV.

The Vigo EV is available in two variants, E1 and E2. The E1 variant is priced at Rs 6,999,000, while the E2 variant costs Rs 7,499,999. The booking amount for both versions has been set at Rs 1,200,000.

According to the company, the Dongfeng Vigo EV will be displayed to the public at Packages Mall from February 16 to February 18. Vehicle deliveries are expected to start from the second week of February, depending on booking confirmation.

The electric SUV comes with a front-wheel-drive system and an electric motor producing 161 horsepower and 230 Nm of torque. It is powered by a 45 kWh battery, offering a claimed WLTP driving range of up to 353 kilometers on a full charge.

Charging options include 60 kW DC fast charging and 6.6 kW AC charging, making it suitable for both quick top-ups and home charging. The Vigo EV measures 4,306 mm in length, 1,868 mm in width, and 1,654 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,715 mm.

In terms of features, the SUV offers 17-inch alloy wheels, a 12.8-inch central touchscreen, and an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster. Safety and tech highlights include Level 2 advanced driver assistance systems, six airbags, and a 540-degree camera system.
