Meanwhile, international gold prices have also edged higher. Global bullion markets saw the price of gold per ounce increase by $21, bringing the international rate to Rs 3,345 per gram.
The Pakistani rupee has seen slight relief amidst these upward trends. According to the State Bank of Pakistan, the U.S. dollar closed at Rs 284.46 today—a ten-paisa decline compared to yesterday’s closing rate of Rs 284.56.
The back-to-back rise in gold prices reflects rising demand and market volatility, while the rupee’s stabilization offers a glimmer of hope for investors and consumers.
