FBR issues revised office timings for tax offices
An official notification states that all Large Taxpayer Offices (LTOs), the Medium Taxpayer Office (MTO), Corporate Tax Offices (CTOs), and Regional Tax Offices (RTOs) will observe special working hours from June 27 to June 30, while maintaining regular operations.
According to the revised schedule, FBR offices will remain open on Sunday, June 28, despite the regular weekly holiday.

Tax offices will operate until 8:00 PM on June 29. On June 30, the final day of the fiscal year, offices will remain open until midnight (12:00 AM) to facilitate the receipt of tax and duty payments.
The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) announced that its Inland Revenue Operations Wing has finalized all necessary arrangements to maintain uninterrupted tax collection during the extended working hours.
The tax authority has also instructed all Chief Commissioners to ensure there are no disruptions in revenue collection and urged taxpayers to clear their outstanding taxes and duties before the June 30 deadline to avoid last-minute delays.
The extended office hours are part of the FBR's final drive to maximize revenue collection before the close of the 2025–26 fiscal year, with June typically being the busiest month for tax payments.
