PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja communicated this instruction. The purpose of this move is to give Junaid Akbar, the newly appointed president of PTI s Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa chapter, a free hand in reorganising the party.
Talking to the media outside Adiala jail, Raja said that PTI founder is in good health. He told the journalists that Khan had planned to pen a letter to Chief Justice of Pakistan Yahya Afridi about prison system’s issues.
During the media talk, Raja stated the PTI’s opinion on prevalent issues in Sindh, including resistance to dam construction, reiterating PTI’s commitment to fighting for the rights of the people in the province.
Moreover, Raja emphasised the party’s intention to engage with every institution, saying that PTI would "knock on doors" to address concerns, particularly in light of the controversial passage of the 26th Constitutional Amendment.
