Another 10 terrorists killed in Khyber operation: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: As many as 10 terrorists were killed in an intelligence based operation in general area Bagh, Khyber District, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

“On night 23/24 February 2025, Security Forces conducted an intelligence based operation in general area Bagh, Khyber District on reported presence of Khwarij,” the military’s media affairs wing said in a statement.

During the conduct of operation, own troops effectively engaged the khwarij location, as a result of which, ten khwarij were sent to hell, the statement maintained.

Sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate any other Kharji found in the area as the security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country, it concluded.

Also a day earlier, seven Khwarij were sent to hell in two separate engagements in Dera Ismail Khan District,” the ISPR said in another statement.

“On reported presence of Khwarij, an intelligence based operation was conducted by the Security Forces in general area Daraban. During the conduct of operation, own troops effectively engaged the khwarijs’ location, resultantly, four khwarij were sent to hell,” the military’s media affairs wing said.

In another encounter that took place in general area Maddi, own troops effectively neutralized three khwarij, it added.
