(Web Desk): Kuwait has rolled out new visit visa reforms, making entry requirements easier than ever.

Under new policies Kuwait has abolished the minimum income requirement for foreign residents who want to bring in family members on visit visas, as part of new entry regulation reforms. The core aim of these changings is to increase openness and deepen social connections between the countries.

The General Residency Department s Electronic Services Administration Col. Abdulaziz Al Kandari said the long-standing salary criteria for sponsoring relatives have been abolished. Any legal resident in Kuwait can now invite relatives to come in, irrespective of their salary.

The revised policy also increases the number of qualified visitors to include relatives up to the fourth degree of kinship and in-laws up to the third degree, moving beyond immediate family members. Another significant shift is that the requirement for visitors to travel only through Kuwait s national airline has been eliminated.

Acting Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Fahad Al Yousuf instructed the lifting of the "national carrier" limitation, allowing guests to arrive in Kuwait via land, sea, or air on any airline.

Col. Al Kandari pointed out that these reforms are meant to facilitate simpler procedures and consolidate family ties, demonstrating Kuwait s dedication to more access and ease for residents and their families.
