(Web Desk): For the first time in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a woman, Ali Ayesha Gul, has been appointed as SSP Investigation in Peshawar.

Ali Ayesha Gul has made history by becoming the first woman to hold the position of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police Inspector General officially announced her appointment.

Ayesha Gul is a part of the Police Service of Pakistan and has worked before as Additional Inspector General (AIG) for Gender.

She recently came back to Pakistan after completing a special training course abroad.

This appointment is a big step forward for women in the police force in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
