Captain embraces martyrdom, two terrorists killed in North Waziristan: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: (Suno News) Captain Muhammad Osama bin Arshad embraced martyrdom while two terrorists were killed during an exchange of fire in North Waziristan district on Tuesday, according the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

 “On 9 July 2024, a fire exchange took place between security forces and terrorists in North Waziristan district,” the military’s media affairs wing said in a statement.

During the fierce engagement, own troops effectively engaged the terrorists  location, as result of which two terrorists were sent to hell, the ISPR said.

“However, during the intense exchange of fire, leading his troops from the front, Captain Muhammad Osama bin Arshad (age: 24 years, resident of Rawalpindi District), having fought gallantly, made the ultimate sacrifice and embraced Shahadat,” it added.

Sanitization operation is being carried out to eliminate any terrorists found in the area, it said. Security forces of Pakistan are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve, it concluded.
