(Web Desk): The United States is talking to Iran through Pakistan to try to reduce tensions in the region.

A senior adviser to former President Donald Trump said that the U.S. has sent a 15-point peace plan to Iran using Pakistan as a middle country.

He explained that the talks are happening indirectly and are very sensitive, so not all details can be shared. According to Iranian media, Iran has replied to the U.S. plan and is now waiting for a response.

An Iranian official said the proposals are unfair and mostly benefit the U.S. and Israel. Iran also told Pakistan that the plan does not meet all important requirements. Pakistan and Turkey are trying to help both sides agree on a solution.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump claimed that U.S. actions have weakened Iran’s military, including its air force and navy. He also said Iran is now interested in making a deal.
