(Web Desk): Israeli attacks on Lebanon have killed 3,213 people and wounded 9,737 others, according to Lebanon’s health ministry.

Fresh strikes and evacuation warnings have increased fear across southern Lebanon.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health’s Emergency Operations Center said the casualties were recorded from March 2 until May 26. Officials said civilians were among the victims of the ongoing Israeli aggression.

Lebanese media reported that an Israeli airstrike targeted the town of Burj al-Shamali. The attack killed 10 people, including women and children, while 12 others were injured in the preliminary count.

Reports said rescue teams rushed to the damaged area after the strike. Many families were seen fleeing in panic as fears of more attacks spread across nearby towns.

The Israeli army also issued an urgent evacuation warning for residents of 47 villages and towns in southern Lebanon. People were asked to leave their homes as military operations continued in the region.

At the same time, Israeli aerial and artillery bombardment continued in several southern Lebanese villages. Drones were also reported flying over Lebanese airspace during the attacks.

The latest escalation has increased concerns about a wider regional conflict in the Middle East. Humanitarian fears are also growing as civilians continue to suffer from violence and displacement.

The rising number of casualties and evacuation orders show the situation in Lebanon is becoming more dangerous. Many observers fear the conflict could expand further if tensions continue to rise.

Meanwhile, Israel’s military says it carried out an air strike killing a Hezbollah fighter in an area of southern Lebanon where Israeli troops are positioned.

The strike targeted the fighter as he moved to retrieve a drone, which Israel’s military said posed a threat to its troops in the area.
