IRGC Navy says approaching ‘zero hour’ for operation against US naval units
The warning comes as Iran claims to be closely monitoring American military activities.
According to a statement broadcast by Iranian state television, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy said US military movements and equipment are under constant observation. Iranian naval units reportedly continue to track developments involving American forces in regional waters.
The statement further claimed that US forces are moving closer to what it described as the “zero hour” of a potential operation by Iran’s Armed Forces. The warning specifically referred to naval units linked to the US Central Command, known as Centcom.
The latest remarks come shortly after Iran announced that it had targeted the US air base at Al Udeid in Qatar during what it called the 15th wave of attacks. The claim has added to concerns about a possible widening of regional hostilities.
Iranian officials also said the operation caused damage to military assets at the base. According to Iranian media reports, a long-range radar system and several US strategic refueling aircraft were destroyed during the attack.

No independent verification of the reported damage was immediately available. However, the statements have drawn significant international attention due to the importance of US military facilities in the Gulf region.
Iran also issued a strong warning regarding future actions. The statement said, “The American enemy and the hosts of its bases in the region should know that crossing red lines and attacking people and civilian infrastructure will have a very severe and miserable price. If the enemy continues this trend, more crushing responses are on the way; responses that will remain in the history of battles”.
Security analysts say the exchange of threats reflects increasing instability in the region. Governments and military officials are closely monitoring developments for any signs of further escalation.
The latest statements have raised concerns about the impact of continued tensions on regional security and global energy markets. Any further confrontation could have consequences far beyond the Middle East.
The strong language used by both sides shows that tensions remain extremely high. Investors and governments are watching closely because any escalation could affect oil prices and regional stability. The coming days may be important in determining whether the situation worsens or moves toward diplomacy.
