Tensions in the Middle East have sharply escalated after Iran issued a direct warning to the United States, urging Donald Trump to “wait for a surprise response” following recent Israeli attacks.

The warning came from senior Iranian military official Ali Abdolahi, associated with the Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters, who stated that Iran’s retaliation would be “unconventional” and beyond expectations.

The warning follows confirmed reports that Ali Larijani, a senior Iranian security figure, was martyred in a targeted Israeli strike in eastern Tehran. His son, Morteza Larijani, and an aide were also killed in the attack.

According to Iranian sources, Larijani was targeted while visiting family, intensifying outrage within Iran’s leadership and public.

Another Senior Commander Killed

In a separate Israeli strike, Gholamreza Soleimani, head of Iran’s Basij militia, was also reportedly martyred. These back-to-back assassinations have significantly raised the stakes in the ongoing conflict.
