(Web Desk): Iran launches 87th wave of missile and drone attacks on US and Israeli targets across the Middle East, escalating tensions and raising fears of wider conflict.

Iran has claimed responsibility for launching the 87th wave of coordinated missile and drone attacks targeting United States and Israeli military assets across the Middle East, significantly escalating regional tensions.

According to a statement issued by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), multiple US military installations, including five bases, command and control centers, and drone facilities, were struck during the latest wave of operations. The IRGC also claimed that American and Israeli personnel stationed at various strategic locations were among the targets.

The statement further revealed that hideouts of Israeli pilots and weapons storage facilities were specifically targeted in this latest offensive, signaling a shift toward more strategic and high-value targets.

The attacks reportedly hit several locations across Israeli-controlled and regional territories, including central, southern, and northern areas. Key sites mentioned include Haifa Bay, Kiryat Shmona, Tel Aviv, Be’er Sheva, Dimona, Al-Kharj, Jufair, and Victoria. Ballistic missiles and suicide drones were allegedly used to carry out these strikes, showcasing Iran’s expanding military capabilities.

In a separate claim, the IRGC accused Israel of launching an attack on a desalination plant in Kuwait, condemning the act as a violation of international norms and calling it “highly reprehensible.”

The statement also issued a stern warning to countries across West Asia, urging them to remain vigilant against what it described as destabilizing actions by the United States and Israel. Iran warned that continued aggression could further inflame tensions and push the region toward broader instability.

The latest developments come amid an already volatile geopolitical climate in the Middle East, with analysts warning that continued escalation between Iran, the US, and Israel could have far-reaching consequences for global security and energy markets.
