Bahrain confirms attacks
State media in Bahrain confirmed that three incidents occurred within its territory. Officials did not immediately provide details on casualties or damage.
Sirens and explosions in Riyadh
Loud explosions were reported in Saudi Arabia’s capital Riyadh, according to AFP correspondents. Authorities have not yet confirmed the source of the blasts.
Missile interception reported in Qatar
A Qatari defense official told AFP that air defense systems intercepted an incoming missile using US-made Patriot systems. Qatar hosts the Al-Udeid air base, one of the largest US military facilities in the region. Warning sirens reportedly sounded during the incident.
