(Web Desk): Iran rejects Trump’s ultimatum, warning of regional consequences amid escalating tensions.

Iran has firmly rejected the latest ultimatum issued by Donald Trump, escalating tensions between the two nations and raising fears of broader regional instability.

Speaking on behalf of Iran’s Foreign Ministry, spokesperson Esmail Baghaei stated that Iran possesses the capability to launch retaliatory strikes if provoked. He warned that threats targeting civilian infrastructure, including power plants, would not remain limited to Iran but would have consequences across the wider region.

Baghaei emphasized that any aggressive action would trigger a response that could destabilize multiple countries, underlining the seriousness of the situation. Meanwhile, Ebrahim Zolfaqari, representing the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, strongly criticized Trump’s remarks, calling them “immoral and provocative.”

Zolfaqari added that what he described as media warfare and psychological tactics would not restore what he termed as the United States’ damaged reputation. He further claimed that propaganda could not erase the humiliation faced by the US in its confrontation with Iran.

The escalation comes after Trump reiterated his warning that failure to reopen the Strait of Hormuz would lead to severe consequences. In a controversial social media statement, Trump threatened strikes on civilian facilities and used harsh language against Iran, further inflaming tensions.

Analysts warn that continued rhetoric from both sides could push the region closer to a dangerous conflict with global implications.
