Web Desk: The latest Iran missile attack claim targeting the US aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln has intensified Iran US tensions and raised fears of a wider Middle East conflict following an alleged IRGC missile strike.

Iran has claimed that an Iran missile attack targeted the US aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln, adding a dramatic new chapter to the growing Middle East conflict.

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said the IRGC missile strike involved missiles and drones fired toward the American warship operating near regional waters.

Iranian officials claimed the attack caused damage to the carrier and forced it to move away from the area.

However, US officials have strongly rejected these claims. According to Washington, the US aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln remains fully operational and continues its missions despite the reported Iran missile attack.

The alleged strike comes at a time of rapidly escalating Iran US tensions, as both countries increase military activity in the region. Military analysts say the claim of an IRGC missile strike signals how serious the situation has become.

At the same time, Iranian military officials warned that any attack on Iran’s key infrastructure, energy facilities, or ports would lead to a powerful response.

Such warnings have further raised fears that the Middle East conflict could expand into a much larger confrontation.

Reports also indicate that Iranian forces have carried out additional drone and missi le operations against targets linked to Israel during the same period. Explosions were reported in several locations as air defence systems were activated.
