TEHRAN (Web Desk): Iranian military says 800 US troops killed, 17 bases destroyed amid ongoing conflict, as Tehran claims major losses inflicted on US and Israeli forces.

An Iranian military spokesperson has claimed that significant damage and casualties have been caused to US and Israeli forces since the start of the ongoing conflict. The spokesperson said that 800 American soldiers have been killed and around 5,000 injured, while 1,321 Israeli troops have also lost their lives.

He further claimed that 17 US military bases have been destroyed, adding that the movement of US personnel to hotels reflects what he described as a retreat.

According to the spokesperson, “The failure of the US military strategy has damaged its credibility. We will not allow the Americans to leave until our demands are met.” Iran has also urged Gulf countries to remove US forces from their bases, warning of further action if they do not comply.

The spokesperson added that Iranian forces are monitoring US personnel who have taken shelter in hotels, which Tehran considers areas under US influence. He also claimed that US F-35 fighter jets are no longer secure and suggested that control over the Strait of Hormuz has shifted, indicating a change in the regional military balance. The statements come amid rising tensions in the region, where both sides continue to exchange threats and claims.
