Officials discussed collaboration with the State Bank of Pakistan to ensure smooth and transparent fund transfers. A key feature is the rollout of an interoperability system, allowing beneficiaries to receive payments through multiple banks.

The Social Protection Wallet reduces dependence on middlemen and minimizes deductions. Funds are transferred directly into beneficiaries’ digital accounts, ensuring faster and safer payments.
Authorities aim to bring over 10 million women into the formal banking system under this initiative, marking a significant step toward financial inclusion.
To support the rollout, millions of SIM cards have been distributed and digital accounts opened. Beneficiaries now receive SMS alerts and can easily track their payments.
