Free CNG offered to ease public burden amid economic challenges

Iran’s nationwide initiative aims to reduce travel costs for citizens. It comes as Iran continues to face economic pressure and tensions with the United States.

According to Iranian media, CNG station owners across the country have jointly launched the “Iran One Heart, One Voice” campaign. Under the initiative, more than 1,000 CNG stations are supplying gas to vehicle owners free of charge.

Officials and organisers said the move is intended to ease the financial burden on people during the current situation. They hope the free fuel will help citizens manage daily travel expenses more easily.

This is not the first public relief effort launched in Iran during difficult times. Earlier, during the war situation, several supermarkets also announced support measures for local communities.

Some stores displayed messages inviting people to take essential household items according to their needs. Customers were told they could pay for the goods after the war had ended.

These initiatives reflect efforts by businesses and community groups to support people facing financial hardship. The latest free CNG campaign is expected to benefit thousands of drivers across the country.
