A new report brings big and exciting news: the UAE is expected to create nearly 1 million new jobs this year alone, opening up massive opportunities for both locals and foreign workers.

According to the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC), the UAE’s booming travel and tourism sector will support over 925,000 jobs by the end of 2025. Just this year, more than 26,000 new jobs are expected to be added in this growing industry.

In 2025, international tourist spending in the UAE is expected to reach 228.5 billion dirhams — a staggering 37% more than the previous record set in 2019. This means tourists are not just returning to the UAE; they’re spending more than ever before.

In addition, the tourism and travel sector is set to contribute 267.5 billion dirhams to the UAE’s national economy — making up nearly 13% of the country’s total GDP. That’s a huge chunk of economic activity coming from just one sector!
