(Web Desk): UAE denies media claims of lifetime Golden Visas for certain nationalities, warning the public against scams and urging use of official application channels only.

The United Arab Emirates has categorically denied reports suggesting that lifetime Golden Visas are being offered to individuals from certain nationalities. The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) called such claims “misleading and baseless,” according to a statement carried by Emirates News Agency (WAM).

The clarification comes in response to false information published by some local and international media outlets, alleging that individuals from countries like India and Bangladesh could obtain lifetime Golden Visas without meeting standard investment or property criteria. Reports claimed the visas could be secured via a one-time payment of AED 100,000 through foreign consultancy firms.

The ICP stressed that all Golden Visa regulations, including eligibility criteria and application procedures, are strictly defined by UAE law. Applications must be submitted through official government channels only, and no private entity, whether inside or outside the UAE, is authorised to process or guarantee Golden Visa applications.

The statement further warned the public against falling for such scams, urging individuals not to share personal documents or make payments to unverified third parties. Legal action, the authority added, will be taken against those spreading misinformation or attempting to exploit people’s interest in relocating to the UAE.

The Golden Visa remains a long-term residence permit granted to eligible foreign nationals such as investors, entrepreneurs, researchers, exceptional students, and humanitarian workers. Applicants are evaluated based on their qualifications, contributions to vital sectors, and adherence to official guidelines.
