(Web Desk) Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned the Israeli strikes on Iran that killed Iranian top military commander, and nuclear scientists.

Saudi Arabia called the attacks a “blatant violation” of international law and a threat to regional security.

“While the kingdom condemns these heinous attacks, it affirms that the international community and Security Council bear a great responsibility to immediately halt this aggression,” the ministry said in a statement.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia also urged the United Nations Security Council and the broader international community to take immediate steps to halt the Israeli aggression, warning of its potential to further destabilize an already volatile region.

“The international community and the Security Council bear a great responsibility to immediately halt this aggression,” the statement added.

Saudi Arabia’s response is being viewed as a major regional development, given the Kingdom’s recent backchannel diplomacy with both Israel and Iran aimed at easing tensions in the Gulf.
