(Web Desk): Iran has announced severe retaliation in response to the US attack on its nuclear facilities.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guards have said in a stern tone that "America should wait a little longer; it will definitely suffer the punishment for this attack." The statement said that Iran will target all American assets in the Middle East.

Iran s Atomic Energy Organization has confirmed that the United States attacked Iranian nuclear facilities overnight, targeting the nuclear sites of Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan. Iranian authorities have called the attack a clear violation of international law and have called on the international community, including the United Nations, to take notice of the aggression.

It should be recalled that US President Donald Trump, in his post on X (formerly Twitter), announced the successful attack on Iran, saying that the US Air Force had successfully bombed three important nuclear plants in Iran. These plants include Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan. President Trump added that all US aircraft have safely left Iranian airspace and returned to their bases.

Donald Trump said that a full payload of bombs was dropped on the main nuclear facility at Fordow, and that the attack was a testament to America s military superiority. "Congratulations to our great American warriors, no other military in the world can do this, now is the time for peace, " he said in his statement.

Later, addressing the nation, the US President said that the US has taken this step to stop Iran s nuclear activities because Iran is promoting terrorism in the region. He warned that if Iran does not establish peace, future attacks will be more dangerous than before. The US goal is to completely destroy Iran s nuclear capability.
