A Bradford woman has been jailed for 21 years and six months after officers from the UK National Crime Agency (NCA) uncovered 85 kilograms of heroin worth £8.5 million hidden inside her home.

Sidrah Nosheen, 34, was identified as a key member of an organised crime group (OCG) that smuggled heroin from Pakistan to the UK and distributed it nationwide. According to the NCA, Nosheen played a central role in processing and distributing large drug consignments.

Investigators revealed that heroin concealed in clothing items such as leather jackets was delivered to Nosheen’s home on Woodside Road, Wyke. She removed the drugs, repackaged them into one-kilogram deal bags, and prepared them for onward distribution.

When officers arrested Nosheen in June 2024, they discovered her back bedroom had been converted into a fully operational heroin processing unit, complete with scales, buckets, tools, and a wallpaper pasting table. Boxes of unopened clothing containing drugs were also found.

Phone data uncovered hundreds of messages with an accomplice in Pakistan, detailing heroin supply routes and distribution plans across the UK. Evidence also showed Nosheen collected £250,000 in cash on one occasion for the crime group.

Nosheen pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply heroin and conspiracy to import heroin before her trial at Bradford Crown Court.

NCA senior investigator Rick MacKenzie said Nosheen appeared to live an ordinary life but was deeply involved in drug trafficking, adding that the agency remains committed to protecting the public from the devastating impact of Class A drugs.
