Authorities said a planned attempt to defame Pakistan after the Sydney incident has been exposed. The anti Pakistan narrative, pushed on social media, has now been proven baseless and misleading.
According to officials, sections of Indian media circulated fake images and misleading videos after the Sydney attack to link Pakistan with the incident. This effort was described as a deliberate and organised propaganda drive.
Officials strongly condemned turning a human tragedy into a political and propaganda battle. They said viral videos and false accusations spreading online are enemies of humanity and distract from the real human story behind the tragedy.
The fake videos and fabricated data shared by Indian media were exposed, as no credible international source supported allegations against Pakistan. Authorities said the false narrative collapsed under scrutiny.

It was further stated that India’s so called “godi media” spread organised lies at the global level to malign Pakistan. During this campaign, real stories of human bravery and sacrifice were deliberately ignored.
Muslim hero Ahmed Al Ahmed showed that courage and humanity have no religion or race. Officials stressed that terrorism has no link to any nation or faith, and responsible reporting based on truth and empathy is essential.
Authorities said the Sydney incident was the act of an individual. Blaming an entire nation fuels hatred and diverts attention from extremism, victim support, and the peaceful identity of Muslims.
False narratives can deepen global mistrust. Truth based reporting protects innocent people. Human courage should not be buried under propaganda.
