A special police team has been appointed to find the remaining body parts, the matter is still under investigation.

This occurrence brought up the brutal case of Shradha Walkar in 2022. Walkar was reportedly strangled to death by her live-in partner, AA Poonawala. According to reports, he dismembered her body, stored the parts in a refrigerator, and disposed of them at various locations across the city over several days to evade detection.
