(Web Desk): A major development has emerged as India has acknowledged the damage caused by Pakistani strikes, admitting to both personnel and infrastructure losses.

According to Indian security sources, Pakistan s air and drone strikes have inflicted significant damage on Indian assets.

India has reportedly suffered heavy losses in terms of both lives and material due to Pakistan’s retaliatory strikes.

The Indian military confirmed that under Operation Bunyan un Marsoos, Pakistan targeted 26 strategic sites, including airbases and other military installations.

In a press briefing, Indian Air Force spokesperson Wing Commander Vyomika Singh stated that Pakistan conducted multiple high-risk operations along India’s western border using drones, long-range weapons, and other advanced military hardware.

She noted that various IAF targets along the Line of Control (LoC) came under direct attack.

Indian Army spokesperson Colonel Sophia Qureshi also confirmed Pakistani strikes, specifically citing a missile attack on Punjab Airbase at 1:40 AM Saturday. She detailed the use of UCAV drones, long-range munitions, and fighter jets targeting Indian military infrastructure.

The media reports also state that a Rafale jet and a large Indian drone were shot down near Sialkot.

Indian media outlets such as ANI and TV9 have corroborated some of the damage, reporting smoke rising from the Udhampur Airbase and explosions heard at Sirsa Airfield.

Indian media acknowledged attacks on Pathankot, Poonch, and Jammu airbases, noting that the strikes have delivered a serious blow to India’s military capabilities.
