In Rajasthan s Jhunjhunu, a 25-year-old Indian man, Rohitash Kumar, having difficulties in speaking and hearing, went to hospital as he was feeling ill.
In hospital, he had an epilepsy seizure and doctors declared him dead, Indian press reported
In a shocking turn of events, Kumar was sent to the mortuary and was about to be cremated according to Hindu rituals when his body suddenly started moving, and he was found to be alive and breathing. Unfortunately, Kumar was shifted to the hospital again but was confirmed dead during the treatment.
The incident has led to the suspension of three doctors, and a police investigation has been launched. According to D. Singh, the chief medical officer, a doctor had prepared a postmortem report without actually performing the procedure, leading to the shocking mistake.
