The Canada government has instructed its citizens to immediately leave the United Arab Emirates (UAE) due to rising regional security threats.
In an official advisory, Canadian authorities warned that Canadians currently in the United Arab Emirates should not wait for special government evacuation flights and must make independent travel arrangements as soon as possible.
Do Not Wait for Special Flights, Authorities Say
Officials emphasized that Canadian nationals should not rely on government-organized evacuation operations.
Instead, they have been advised to consider land routes to neighboring countries, including:
- Saudi Arabia
- Oman (via Muscat)
Authorities indicated that alternative exit strategies may be necessary if air travel becomes further restricted.
